Our Growers

We take great pride in our strong relationships with farmers and deeply respect their work. We source top-quality salads, root crops, berries and more, ensuring a consistent supply for our customers through efficient distribution. All of our farming partners share our commitment to quality and sustainability.

Local fruit and vegetables

We are fortunate to live in one of the best regions in the country for growing fruit and vegetables, which means much of our produce is locally sourced. We can deliver native and local fruit and vegetables within 24 hours of them being picked.

Cambridgeshire

We also work closely with seasonal growers around Cambridgeshire and towards the Fens, where we source our celery, salad heads, potatoes and asparagus, as well as apples and pears upon their season.

Lincolnshire

Further north into Lincolnshire, you will find our growers for cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, potatoes and other seasonal produce, such as curly kale and cavolo nero. We also get some of our herbs from this area.

Bedfordshire

Seasonal lines sourced from Bedfordshire include many of our oriental vegetables, like Pak Choi. We also source chilies, tomatoes, cabbage and other fresh, flavourful produce from this part of the country.

Across the globe

We work directly with growers in Europe. It allows us to source the finest produce across Europe from fruit and vegetables to olives, charcuteries and cheeses.

However much we love locally grown ingredients, sometimes the best produce is native rather than down the road.

This means we go to the ends of the earth (quite literally) to get the best.

South American avocados are unbeatable. We source oranges, grapes, and apples from South Africa, while Kenya has the perfect climate for mange tout and beans. True native kiwis need to come from New Zealand to get that authentic sweet and sour combination. Meanwhile, the dry summer heat and breezes in France and Spain enable us to deliver the juiciest peaches and figs.
